Infertility in Woman, Cause in Infertility Woman

What is infertility?

The doctors and specialists define infertility as the inability to get pregnant at least after one year trying to get it.

What are the causes of infertility in women?

There are several possible causes of infertility in women of less than 40 years old age, but the most commons are related with problems with the ovulation. We can identify specifics diseases or conditions that affect seriously the pregnant capacity of a woman. For instance, the most common clinical problems related with women’s infertility are:

  1. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID): PID is the factor that causes the most of infertility cases in USA and in the rest of the world.
    • What is PID?
      • PID is a bacterial induced inflammation that can produce several injuries to appendix, lower abdomen organs, and the reproductive organs. In severe clinical cases of PID is seen salpingitis: the infection and inflammation of the Fallopian tubes and the most common cause of infertility.
    • What are the causes of PID?
      • Frequently, PID is an effect of some bacterial activities, especially those bacteria that cause some of sexually transmitted diseases.
      • The common herpesviruses infections can be the cause in some clinical cases.
      • When a rupture of appendix occurs, there is some high chance of one pelvic inflammation caused by the infection of the bowel bacteria spreading on those lower body trunk areas.
      • Any abortion procedure that has been carried without the proper sterile and aseptic techniques.
      • The pelvic tuberculosis related with the clinical tuberculosis cases can raise the probability of PID.
  1. Endometriosis: this is the cause of women’s infertility in near five to thirty percent of these clinical cases.
    • What is endometriosis?
      • Endometriosis is a menstrual cycle discharge disruption. It occurs when the border linings cells around the uterus move up to the pelvic tubes or in pelvic cavity instead to move down to vagina. Then the misplaced tissues provoke scarring and hemorrhages when respond to cyclical menstrual hormones. In addition, these misplaced tissues can obstruct the fallopian ovulation passage and prevent the conception.
  2. Hypothalamic-pituitary disorders: there are some infertility clinical cases showing that the cause of infertility was the malfunctioning of hypothalamus and pituitary organs. These organs control the release of the ovulation related hormones. If there is an insufficiency of the release of one of its hormones then we get a high chance of infertility.
  3. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome: the ovarian production of the testosterone hormone is usually higher than the normal rate. It can produce no ovulation periods and this clearly raises the chance of infertility.
  4. Ovarian cysts: the ovarian cysts do not provoke directly the infertility. The infertility is produced when there are persistent cysts in one or both ovaries and the unique solution is to extirpate the affected ovaries.
  5. Early Menopause: This condition is also named as premature ovarian failure. The factors that can provoke this early ovarian failure are:
    • Other hormones deficiencies
    • Genetic factors
    • Cancer treatments
    • Immunology system’s diseases

What are the treatments to fight women infertility?

  • Changes in the lifestyle: planning the sexual activity with the fertile periods, having only one sexual partner to prevent the sexually transmitted diseases
  • Manage your emotions and your stress: relax more during your working hours.
  • An adequate and balanced diet: a low fat diet can be a plus to get pregnant
  • Using hormone therapy and medicines that induces a more frequent ovulation periods: always follow your doctor’s recommendations
  • Choose a good fertility clinic: this makes a difference
