Urinary and Other Bladder Problems: Urinary Problem in Woman, Bladder Problem Test Urine, Bladder Problem in Woman

Urinary incontinence is the loss of control over your urine. This is a symptom of a medical problem but is not a disease in its self. It is not known to be caused in elderly people more but also in young as well it happens to everyone it does not very by age. This is sometimes caused by a urinary track infection kidney stones or tumors. This happens a lot more in the mentally impaired. Incontinence is usually most common in women and happens when the pelvic muscles have been damaged or becomes weak, which causes it to leak during exercise, or when coughing and sneezing. Body movement also puts pressure on the bladder and causes you to have accidents when doing any physical activity.

The way a doctor diagnosis this condition is he or she will put a catheter straight into the bladder and test for pressure in the bladder your doctor will pour sterile water into the catheter straight into the bladder to check for bladder pressure. Also your doctor can check for this with a ultrasound. Many People do not seek treatment for this kind of illness because they are too embarrassed to tell their doctor about it or worried that others will find out about it. But there is nothing to be worried about it is an illness that affects over 10 million American each year and your doctor is able to help if you are willing to let him.

If you go see your doctor about this then he might recommend surgery in order to cure this problem there are different types of surgery that can be done to cure this problem and they can be any of the following:

The Burch Procedure : This procedure is done to lift the walls of the vagina and uterus this is done so that it will control the bladder and you will not have accidents during physical activity or when coughing or sneezing. This surgery is done through either open abdominal or laparoscopy. Open abdominal surgery will need you to be in the hospital for 3 days and 3 to 6 weeks of recovery time.  Laparoscopy surgery will be better because it takes less time to recover and you may be able to leave the hospital within 24 to 48 hours and can begin normal activity within 14 days.

The Sling Procedure: In this surgery a sling is made out of tissue out of the thigh or abdomen the sling is placed under the urethra like a hammock to hold and compress it and keeps leaks from happening. This procedure is done vaginally and you can go home the next day.

TVT procedure: This procedure is done when a tape like material is inserted into the vagina to support the bladder neck and the urethra. This is a same day surgery.

Injected implants: Injecting a substance into the urethra has been found to help women with incontinence due to weak sphincter muscles. The procedure can be performed in an outpatient setting using a local anesthesia. The surgeon injects a substance, usually collagen or silicone, into the lining of the urethra. The substance increases the bulk of the surrounding tissues and allows the urethra to close tightly enough to prevent urine from leaking out.

There are many different options to choose from and your doctor will tell you which one is right for you. Tell your doctor if you have a heart condition or any other illness before going under any of these procedures. Some may not be safe if you have a heart condition or are an elderly person.

Reader's Favorite Tip
the best way to remove marks on skin is shredding cucumber with a hand shredder and then adding pure honey (without the sugar) in to the shredded cucumber once you do that, you will have to take a cotton ball and apply it around the marks (black cirle's, pimple marks or anything.)you will have to apply in a circular motion for at least 1 minute for each mark. Keep doing this at least 3 times a week for 3 months and I am pretty sure you'll have glowing skin! - Submitted by Payal
