Travel Concerns for Women

There are some women out there who are afraid of travel and have many different concerns about it. But the first thing to know when traveling is don’t be paranoid but just be cautiously aware that bad things do happen but all you need to do is be prepared for them all you have to do is make smart choices. Always remember to trust your instincts because they always tend to be right so if you feel something is not safe or you feel uneasy about a place or situation just get out of there and do it quickly. Also you can use your body language to show people you are tough and will take no nonsense from anyone.

A way to do this is to keep your head up and swing your arms and act confident. This way you will seem as less of a target. Also remember not to leave your drinks lying around or your food so in a case that there is a chance that it might be drugged.  Because there is a rape drug that is taste less and odorless and some women have fallen prey to it so this is an important thing to be aware of?  Also if you are at parties do not accept a drink from anyone unless you know and trust them very well. If you feel you are being followed on the street go into a shop and tell the clerk and have him call a cab or police officer for you.

Also it is best to carry a fanny pack or wallet when going out instead of a purse because if you carry a purse there are people who use a knife or blade to cut the straps of your purse and can easily get away with it. Also if you carry a fanny pack wallet you are less of a victim to this people. Also it is good to know when it gets dark that way you can be back at your hotel or place of stay before dark.

However there are times when a man can attack and rape a woman during the early morning around the times of 5 and 8 am. So these are other times to be aware of and take caution of going out at these particular times. Also if you are with someone in a stair case or elevator and you feel that they are suspicious and feel they could do you harm the best thing to do is look them in the eye and ask them the time or simply talk to them about the weather.

If they feel that you have gotten a good look at them and can identify them in a line up if they were to attack you then they think twice about it and you lose your advantage as their next target. Also if you are grabbed aim for the mans weakest spot their groin once you have hit that and the man is down hit him in the testicals do not be afraid to do this your life is at stake most women fear that their attacker will hurt them more if they do this but that is not true most rapist want someone who will not fight back they want someone who is scared and will not resist them so if you do this there is a good chance they will run Instead of stick around for more.

Also attackers are looking for women who are busy looking In their purses or on cell phones women who are distracted. So if you are doing any of this be sure to also be well aware of your surroundings do not become distracted and lose sight of what is really important your safety. �
